Who You Are In Christ
God wants us to see ourselves the way He does. But too many of us have a distorted view of who we are and Who God really is. We've allowed Satan to plant doubts, deceits and other things in our minds. We need to give God's Word more time and give Satan no thought or time. It's time to slam the door right in Satan's face! In order for us to get a hold of the truth we need to internalize God's Word. In other words, to study it! This is the only way it will get down into our spirits. Many of us have God's Word in our mind but it needs to get deeper than that. It needs to get way down in our hearts, at the very core of our being...the spirit man. We have to line up our thoughts with God's thoughts. We have to stop acknowledging the negative and focus and agree with what God's Word says about us. The flesh profits nothing, it's the spirit that quickens us. The only thing Satan is here for is to rob, kill and destroy and it's time we stop giving him that kind of power. We have power over him, let's not forget that.Too many of us, as Christians, are walking around with bad or negative images of ourselves and God. It's time for this nonsense to stop. And I pray this Bible study will get everyone on the right track once and for all. Remember, you can grow somewhat on my Bible study, but you will grow so much more if you take the Scriptures I am giving you today and do your own study. We need to study to rightly divide and to show ourselves approved. That's God's command to each one of us. This Study is long and deep, but please, eat it, chew on it, reflect on it, and most of all agree with it. Live it out children of God!

SO WHO ARE WE IN CHRIST? LET US BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE SOME WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE ON THIS:

WE ARE HIS HEIRS:

****Romans 8:17} And if we are His children, then we are His heirs also; heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ (sharing His inheritance with Him); only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

The moment we repent of our sins and ask Jesus into our hearts, we become sons and daughters of God. He adopts us! We become joint heirs to everything God has for us. Everything that Jesus inherited, we will inherit. Being an heir means one that will inherit. We don't have a clue as to what awaits us when we get to our real home. But if we get into God's Word, we know all the promises that we inherit right here and right now. Not to mention that we inherit the same power that Jesus had when He walked the earth. We can't expect to walk in this kind of power if we keep a distorted image of who we ''think'' we are. It's time to line up and to agree with God's Word folks. Because when we do that, there will be no stopping us. No demon from hell will be able to have their way in any area of our lives. Glory to God! Now don't speed read through this Bible study, really meditate on what God is revealing through it. But more than that, accept the truth of it and apply it to your lives...especially your thinking. That is how we renew our minds...with the Word of God! And remember, the moment you determine to change your outlook on yourself and on God, Satan will try to hit you harder. Fight Him with the Word and speak out the truth of who you are. After this study, you will be very well equipped to do just that! We are to study God's Word but also apply it and use it! It's our weapon of warfare! Most of all remember to believe it and receive it!

  WE ARE A NEW CREATION:

****2 Corinthians 5:17} Therefore if any person is (engrafted) in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation ( a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

First of all what does engrafted mean? It means to join or fasten. When we are born again, we become children of God, we become new creatures and we are joined to God. Now I don't know about you but when I became born again there's a lot of things I used to do that I no longer do. If we still determine to purposely live in sin we really need to check out our salvation to see if it is genuine. When we're born again we will want to please God. We will hate sin and do everything we can to stay away from it. The flesh always wars against the Spirit so we will have times when we will fail miserably. But thank God for His forgiveness. When we are quick to repent, He is quick to forgive. If our salvation is genuine, we will not want to sin or do the things we used to do. But that too comes with studying God's Word so that we can renew our minds and change our ways. God's Word along with the Holy Spirit is what transforms us. So it's not a good thing not to study God's Word.

WE ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE:

****Genesis 1:27} So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female, He created them.

Please take notice that God created all of us in His image. Not just men but women too! God uses both sexes to do His work. I just want to make that abundantly clear for those who teach that women can't be used. Now really meditate on that....we are made in HIS image! Meditate on that until you get a revelation of it. That is awesome! God is beautiful, He is holy and glorious, He is intelligent, creative and each one of us are made in His image! You are beautiful, intelligent and creative. Every characteristic of God is in you! Receive it, accept it and stop agreeing with the lies of Satan!

WE ARE SAVED:

****Romans 10:9} Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

The only way to be saved and enter the Kingdom of God is to repent of your sins, ask Jesus into your heart, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and that you believe He died for you on the cross and was resurrected. But remember, it doesn't stop at salvation folks. Way too many have stopped their walk there. It's a lifetime process of getting to know God intimately by getting into His presence, studying His Word to rightly divide and obeying Him in whatever it is He has called you to do. Too many of us have stopped the process of transformation by getting saved then going on with business as usual. We have made no commitment or followed through on it for that matter. And many of us have closed the lines of communication with God by not taking any time to get into His presence and speak to Him and listen to what He has to say. Time to do a heart search folks. If we are truly saved we will hunger for more of Christ.

WE ARE DELIVERED:

****Colossians 1:13} The Father has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Once we are born again we are translated from the power of darkness and into the Kingdom of Jesus. We are delivered from anything that has to do with the fall and delivered to everything that has to do with redemption. We receive total and complete deliverance in every dimension of our lives! We will have no desire to do the things we used to do. Our desires will change. In other words and to put it quite plainly....Satan has no more dominion over us!!! We have dominion over him!!!! The control of power has shifted. Are we getting this? We won't walk in hate, we will walk in love. We won't hold bitterness, grudges or anything in this family tree, we will be quick to forgive. We won't be stingy in our giving, we will give generously. Everything that is in Jesus' character will be in our character. The more we get into God's Word and His presence the more we will be transformed. The same is true if we keep our focus and feet in this world, we will become more like the rest of the world. Food for thought.

WE ARE HIS WITNESSES:

**** Acts 1:8} But you have received power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samarai and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

When Jesus comes into our hearts, He dwells there by His Spirit. All of His power and abilities reside within us too! We are witnesses of His life, His power, everything! The only way the world will see Jesus today is through each one of us. How? By our love, our works and deeds of love, healing the sick, sharing His truth with others. Everything that He has called us to do. So you see, it doesn't stop at salvation. God expects us to keep His work going because He has equipped us to do just that! We are to continue the very works He did when He walked the earth.   Notice the three words in this Scripture: ability, efficiency and might. Ability means that we have the power to perform! We have sufficiency in skill , power and competence! Efficient means that we are highly capable, we are effective in causing or producing! Might means that we have the power and force to accomplish something. With the power of the Holy Spirit backing us, we can't lose folks. So it's time to stop listening to the devil who is trying to tell us that we can't do anything when even he knows we can. That is why he is so afraid of us and trying to stop our walk in any way he can!

WE ARE COMPLETE IN CHRIST:

****Colossians 2:10} And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life (in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead.....Father, Son and Holy Spirit....and reach full spiritual stature). And He is the Head of all rule and authority (of every angelic principality and power).

Really think about that, not only is Christ residing in us, but the WHOLE GODHEAD! Talk about power! We really need to get a revelation of this. Since Christ is the Head of all rule and authority and He lives within each of us than we need to realize that we too have all authority as He does. That means authority over every angelic principality and power. Even Satan and his demons! I will go one step further and give you another Scripture that will blow you away!

****Colossians 3:3} For, (as far, as this world is concerned) you have died, and your (new, real) life is hidden with Christ in God.

When we are born again the devil cannot find us because we are dead and hid in Christ! He is our Protector. We are hidden in His wings. When the devil looks at us...He sees Jesus!! Halleluiah! So every day we should be shinning out the glory and anointing of Christ. Our behaviors and attitudes need to line up with His.

WE ARE GRACIOUS:

****Luke 4:22} And all spoke well of Him and marveled all the words of grace that came forth from His mouth; and they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

Ok, let's face it. We are not all very gracious at times. We may not feel gracious folks, but we are gracious in Him. The more time we spend with God, the more that area of our lives will change. Imagine if no one could anger us in any way. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Well, it can happen, and we can be gracious to all. It's very obvious that Jesus spoke gracious words and He was gracious. We are gracious in Him. We need to get our thoughts to agree with this statement and we need to speak out often and to ourselves: I am gracious in Christ. We'll be amazed how much this causes changes to come into our lives and our attitudes. Not to mention how we handle people. It wouldn't hurt to ask God to help us to be more gracious by putting a guard over our mouths and helping us to speak only what He desires us to speak. Amen?

WE ARE ANOINTED:

****1 John 2:27} But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides (permanently) in you; so then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him (being rooted in Him, knit to Him), just as (His anointing) has taught you to do.

That is the problem today with many Christians. We do not abide in Christ every day. We let other things and other people constantly pull us away from God. We trust more in men and women's books than we do the Bible. We trust more in their teachings than allowing ourselves to be taught by the greatest Teacher which is the Holy Spirit. We are not rooted in Him because we make no effort to work on an intimate relationship with Him. We have to realize that each one of us is called and anointed by God. God has placed the anointing of His Spirit within us. That anointing teaches us and others around us. It is through this very anointing that the gifts and the fruits are given out. That same anointing is what will equip us to do the works that God has called us to do. God will never call us to do something He has not equipped us for. All we need to do is take a step of trust and faith and walk in the anointing God has placed on us. Remember, this is not a walk of feelings. So a man thinks, so he is. So if we keep thinking with our carnal mind that we can't do something, we won't step out and do it. We can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. So whose report will you believe? That of Satan who says you are weak and will instill fear in you so you don't step out and obey God? Or will you step out and believe God's Word and do what God has called you to do? The choice is simple folks....one is the father of lies, the other the Father of Truth.

WE ARE THANKFUL:

****Colossians 3:15} And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts (deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state) to which as (members of Christ) one body you were also called (to live). And be thankful (appreciative), (giving praise to God always).

When we develop grateful hearts and worship and praise God daily we can't help but allow that peace that surpasses all understanding to enter in. You see, praise and worship drives the devil away! Not to mention that it gives great honor to God and brings His power down. Why do you think the devil tries so hard to get us so discouraged, fearful and worried that we don't think about praising God?   We need to be very grateful and thankful to be alive. We also need to be grateful to receive all the benefits of the work of Christ for our lives. We know that it is finished! The devil is defeated! Praise God! When Christ truly rules in our lives, nothing else will be able to get in.

  WE ARE VISIONARIES:

****Proverbs 29:18} Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish; but he who keeps the law (of God, which includes that of man) blessed, (happy, fortunate and enviable) is he.

We need to say to ourselves: I have a vision from God. God will always give us insight and direction on what He expects from us. He will be faithful to show us the way He wants us to go. He will give us goals in our lives. He will give us a hunger to do certain things in our lives that will glorify Him and bless us. But we have to be open to hear what He has to say and open to see what He has to show us. That comes through intimacy with Him and great knowledge of His Word. If we don't know what God desires of us, then ask. He will reveal it. He may even do that through another person. So be open to however God chooses to reveal your destiny to you.

WE ARE VESSELS OF HONOR:

****2 Timothy 2:21} So whoever cleanses himself (from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences) will (then himself) be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.

We are vessels of honor through which God's fruits and gifts can flow. But take notice of the stipulation in His Word too....whoever separates himself from contact with corrupting influences. So the more we determine to keep our hearts pure before God, the more God will be able to use us for His purposes. Now don't forget, we are already accepted and honorable before Him. But that should not give us a license to keep sinning. We need to remember that sin without repentance hurts and separates our relationship with God. God will use us in ways that far exceed our highest expectations folks. Ask God to see yourself with His eyes. We have to stop limiting God in our lives with what I like to call our stupid thinking. Be open to the unexpected, impossible, and unbelievable because His ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. It's time to see beyond our earthly limitations folks. We are spiritual beings equipped to do spiritual things.

WE ARE LOVING:

****Romans 5:5} Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

Now let's face it, many Christians today are not loving at all. Many are judgmental, critical   and other things. Why is that? Because they have not spent quality time in God's Word or His presence. Because they are not open for the love of God   to come in and transform them. Everything we go through with God is a process. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen if we humble and open ourselves up and allow the Holy Spirit to go very deep and remove anything in us that is not honorable to God. God desires to pour out all of His love in us so that we can be overflowing with compassion, grace, mercy, love and everything else we need to touch a hurting world. Again it comes back to our attitude and our willingness to apply ourselves. It's time to take down any walls of defenses we have and allow God to overflow us with His love. It's available to all of us! But we have to be open to receive that love. God is love, so therefore, we are love! It's time to stop being afraid to trust. Yes, there will be times we will be hurt. But what will we do, have a pity party or pick ourselves up and grow through it? Again, it comes back to attitude and character.

WE ARE FAVORED:

****Proverbs 22:1} A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold.

God greatly favors us. Why? Because we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. God doesn't reject us now nor will He ever reject us. He is pleased in His Son, so therefore He is pleased with us. Why should He be pleased in us? Because of the shed blood of Jesus that we have been washed clean with. We are accepted, we are His children, we are His beloved and we are greatly favored! His love and His favor runs so much more deeply than any human being. We have to stop comparing Him with what we have learned from human beings and stop comparing Him to the things of this world.

WE ARE HEALTHY:

****1 Peter 2:24} He personally bore our sins in His (own) body on the tree (as on an altar and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.

God's Word doesn't say we WILL be healed, it doesn't say you   ARE healed, it says you HAVE BEEN healed. It's a done work! Yes, because of this sinful world we will get hit with disease and sickness, but it cannot stay on us. It has to go. It's been defeated by the stripes of Jesus Christ! We know that in our minds, but how many of us get a true revelation in our spirit of this promise! So we need to speak health and God's promise over our lives when we do get hit. I am healed! I am whole! God's truth will drive sickness away. God's Word is our medicine that will defeat every single sickness that will try to hang on to us. Speak the Word! Put up the "NO TESPASSING" signs.   Refuse to receive men's reports. Wait on God's report. When sickness tries to attach itself to us it's time to speak out truth.....I am healthy...physically, emotionally, mentally,.....in every way. My heart is strong, my organs are healthy and clean, my metabolism is balanced, my blood sugar is balanced, my thinking is clear. God desires health for my body and I receive health!

WE ARE WHOLE:

****1 Thessalonians 5:23}   And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through (separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God); and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete (and found) blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah.)

To be whole means to be sound in body, soul and mind. When we are totally consecrated and committed to God, God will protect us and preserve us from anything that could profane or corrupt our lives. So we are whole in body, soul and mind. Jesus took care of every aspect of our lives, He covered everything. Now it's up to us to keep ourselves pure and sanctified before God. How do we do this? By staying humble, being quick to repent, and to stay closely connected to God and His Word.

WE ARE DEAD AND HID IN HIM:

****Colossians 3:3} For (as far as this world is concerned) you have died, and your (new real) life is hidden with Christ in God.

When we are born again we become a new creature. We develop more and more the character of Christ. The things of this world will not impress us or tempt us. It's value will diminish against the things that God has for us. When Christ appears and we are with Him, we will be as He is and we will appear in all our glory and splendor, just as He is. For now, we are hidden in Him until the time when our true self will be exposed. Our desires will be more for God than for this world. We won't have the desire to sin anymore but to please God.

WE ARE RISEN:

****Colossians 2:12} Thus you were circumcised when you were buried with Him in your baptism, in which you were also raise with Him to a new life through your faith in the working of God as displayed when he raised Him up from the dead.

It's very important once we invite Christ into our lives to be baptized in the Spirit. When we are babies many of us, because of our religions were baptized with the sprinkling of water on the forehead. This is not what God meant by being baptized. We are to pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit and we We are to be fully immersed in water. This is making a public statement that we belong to Christ and have been buried and risen again. When we go down in the water it is a sign of burial, when we come out of the water it is a sign of resurrection! When we are babies we do not have the capacity to make this kind of a decision. But as adults we do. We have resurrection power within us. Jesus Christ is within us and He has resurrected us from the dead and defeated death itself.

WE ARE PROSPEROUS:

****3 John 1:2} Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers.

If we allow our souls to prosper we will prosper in every area of our lives. So how do we prosper our souls? By meditating on and studying God's Word. Everything we do will prosper. We should not feel guilty when we prosper because it is God's good pleasure to give us His Kingdom. God wants and desires us to prosper in all our ways. But it won't happen if we don't put the time and effort into studying and taking in God's Word. It won't happen if we don't apply God's Word to our lives. And it certainly won't happen if we doubt God's Word in any way, shape or form.

WE ARE SUCCESSFUL:

****Joshua 1:8} The Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Too often we get into God's Word and overlook the stipulations in it. Commands that God Himself has given us to obey are often overlooked. If we desire to be successful in all our ways then we need to meditate on God's Word day and night according to this Scripture. Many of us wonder why we are in lack...well here is the answer! But not only are we to mediate, we are to put it to work, apply it to our lives, and obey all that it says. That is what will bring Godly wisdom, knowledge and success to our lives. The key to success is God's Word, there is no way around it. It's been there in plain sight, right in front of our noses all along and we have ignored it. That's why Satan keeps us busy and bound with foolishness, He doesn't want this for us. Time to wake up and discipline ourselves church! The more we get into God's Word the more we will be dead to failure. Where there is failure there is a giving up...laziness, procrastination, backsliding etc.....

WE ARE WEALTHY:

****Deuteronomy 8:18} But you shall (earnestly) remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

What does it mean to ''earnestly'' remember the Lord? It means to seek God will intensity and seriousness. In other words that He needs to be of greater value to us than anything in this world! We have lost the zeal and fire we once had for our God. It's time to put God first back into every area of our lives. God wants us to remember Him every waking moment of our lives. He desires us to love Him, praise and worship Him and keep the lines of communication open at all times. Everything we have is given to us by Almighty God. If we desire His promises to come to pass in our lives then we have to be faithful in our covenant with Him.

WE ARE STARS:

2 Peter 1:19} And we have the prophetic word (made) firmer still. You will do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dismal (squalid and dark) place, until the day breaks through (the gloom) and the Morning Star rises (comes into being) in your hearts.

There is no glory without God's glory within us. Everything and everyone in this world who is without Jesus is nothing but vanity. Jesus shares His glory with us. His glory arises in our hearts and eventually shines out for the whole world to see. Jesus shares His kingdom and His inheritance with us. The more we feed on God's Word and get into His presence, the more we walk in total obedience and humility to His will, the more we will be like giant glow bugs in this world. We will be a shinning beacon of God's love and glory in a dark and dead world.

WE ARE LOVED:

****John 17:23} I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and (definitely) recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them (even) as You have loved Me.

It's time for the children of God to walk in true and perfect unity. To be that three fold chord that cannot be broken....us, God and Christ. It's by our love, the love of God within us, that will draw others to Him. Not how much we know, but how much we love and how much we walk in unity. Really think about that. That's why Satan works so hard at putting division and hatred in this world. Even he knows the power of love. It's time we do!

WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS:

**** Romans 8:37} Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

God knew we would have trials, tribulations and attacks to deal with. He is in us, so we can't lose. Please take notice in this Scripture that not only are we more than conquerors, we are to gain a SURPASSING victory through Christ! What does surpassing mean? It means superior and excellent...which tells me that the victory is more than complete. This comes from knowing and agreeing with who we are in Christ. His love is our protection. His love is our victory! Are we getting any of this? I pray we are! When we get a true revelation of what God is revealing through this study we will be a force to be dealt with. No powers formed against us will prosper but be cast down in Jesus name. Amen! So be it!

WE ARE FEARLESS:

****1 John 4:18} There is no fear in love (dread does not exist), but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and so he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love (is not yet grown into love's complete perfection).

In order for us to grow spiritually and mature in the love of God and His wisdom we need to apply ourselves more into studying God's Word. Have you noticed the most important key here for victory and success? It all comes back to studying the Word to rightly divide. The Word feeds our spiritual being within us and it grows. And the outcome of that is our flesh will die. God's love will immerse us and overtake us and then fear will not be able to respond   through us or out of us. We will be secure in Him and realize Who He is and who we are in Him. Fear will be dead to us. God's love will be our anchor even in the worst storms. We will be immovable and unshakable.
WE ARE KIND:

****Romans 12:10} Love one another with brotherly affection (as members of one family, giving precedence and showing honor to one another.

We have the fruits of the Spirit operating in us. The more we press in to know God in an intimate way, the more the fruits will abound in us. When we truly love God we will truly love one another. We will look for ways to be kind to one another. For what we do to one we do to Christ also. For Christ is in each one of us.

WE ARE GENTLE:

****Galatians 5:22-23} But the fruit of the Holy Spirit (the work which His presence within accomplishes) is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness. Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law (that can bring a charge).

These Scriptures outline the very characteristics of Christ and we should be operating in each one of them. Let's face it, many of us are greatly lacking in one or more. Why is that? Well, for one thing we are still a work in progress. And the other thing could be that we are not spending enough quality time entering into an intimate love relationship with our King or allowing Him to go deeply enough to remove anything in us that does not glorify Him. As we learn to release all things to Him we will find that we will function more in His character and the fruits of the Spirit. Imagine not one person being able to say anything bad about you? Wouldn't that be wonderful. It's within our reach. How badly we desire to be like Christ depends on how much time we are willing to devote to Him.

WE ARE POPULAR:

**** Acts 2:47} Constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding (to their number) daily those who were being saved (from spiritual death).

Take notice in this Scripture that through "constantly praising God" is where God's favor came in. Let's face it, we do not have favor right now with many people in the world. But as we follow the lead of the Spirit, become more like Christ, and continually praise God no matter what comes against us, we will have great favor with Him, with those around us, and with those God will bring into our lives. People will eventually see the love and goodness of God in us and that will draw them to Him and to us. It's not being pushy, arrogant, manipulating or controlling. It is loving them to Christ.

WE ARE ONE AND IN UNITY WE ARE PERFECT:

****John 17:23} I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and (definitely) recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them (even) as You have loved Me.

That is what God wants for us church. To be in one mind, one heart and in perfect unity and purpose. And that purpose is to love and serve the one true Living God. To have one Father and for our focus to be on Him and not all these worldly religions that bring division among us. We're so focused on our religions and churches that we lose focus of the Father and His will and plan for us. We are to become a three chord strand that cannot be broken. Where there is true and unconditional love...nothing can separate it! Are we getting a clue here? We are to be one family and to love each other the way Christ and the Father loves us. Why do we always have to complicate things when God made it so simple? We think we know so much yet we know so little. We are so religiously minded that we are no earthly good to each other or for God. We get our way of thinking and understanding into God's will and plan for us! Time to wake up and get united. One God, One Father, One Family.

WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS:

****Romans 8: 37} Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

Why are we more than conquerors? Because Christ already won the victory for us. So instead of moaning, groaning, complaining, worrying and doubting we need to rise up and praise God and speak His Word over every circumstance and every situations that tries to destroy us. We are guaranteed victory folks! It's already done. This Scripture says that we gain a ''surpassing" victory. Hello? What does surpassing mean? It means excellent, superior in quality, performance, degree, it transcends reach and capacity. In other words God's children it means overly, abundantly and   above what we can even think or imagine! Glory to God! We can't help but excel in all we do and put our hands to. Are we getting this? Remember, doubt, anxiety, worry, complaining and all this negative stuff cancels out our victories! That's why the devil wants you to get in that place. Start praising God and boot that old devil out of your lives and excel!!!!

WE ARE LOVED:

****Romans 8: 38-39}   For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God can and will never stop loving His Son. So therefore, He will never stop loving us who are in Him. Nothing in this world or out of this world will ever stop His love for us....will never separate us from His love. We have to get to that place folks where our belief and our thinking is: God's Word says it, I believe it and that's it! Any negative thinking going on in our lives is because we have allowed Satan some territory in our thinking. Time to put up those no trespassing signs folks. No matter what, God will always and forever love us. More than any earthly person ever could. Really meditate on that.

WE ARE HOLY SPIRIT CONTROLLED:

**** Ephesians 5:18} And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.

Now God isn't saying not to drink wine. After all, Jesus drank wine. His Word also says that a little wine is good for the belly. Many have taken this Scripture out of context and will actually use it to judge, condemn and criticize people who buy wine or have a glass of it once in a while. Get over it! All He is saying is not to get drunk with it. Over indulgence is not good in any area of our lives. That includes pointing the finger at someone. We need to be totally led and guided by the Holy Spirit in all things. We need to avoid temptations that come into our lives every day and crucify our flesh. Our hearts have to be reigned and ruled by the Spirit of God. We need to ask for His help on a daily basis. Commit everything to Him and then success will come.

WE ARE GIVERS:

****2 Corinthians 9:7) Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly   or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes great pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling   to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, prompt to do it) giver (whose heart is in his giving).

Now take great notice of a few things in this Scripture. The first thing is that our giving is to be led by mostly the Spirit of God, what He puts in our hearts to give, what is on our hearts to give and should not be pushed on us or manipulated for us to give! Too much of that is going on in the world today. Promises being made for certain amounts of money! Scaring and using manipulating tactics for our giving! Sound familiar? We need to be very cautious of anyone using such methods! God looks at the heart motivation not the amount! And we are so money oriented that we forget that there are other forms of giving besides money.....our time, our prayers, food, clothing, shelter, love and whatever else God may put on our hearts. Also notice too that God loves the one who doesn't procrastinate in their giving. Those who are quick to obey are the ones that please Him. And also, last but not least, that our giving be generous and not meager. God doesn't give us slim pickings. Neither should we do that for one another. So how we sow and what we sow has a lot to do with what we will reap. Remember that! For those who truly love God and His children will be quick and generous in their giving.

WE ARE RECEIVERS:

**** Mark 11:24} For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will get it.

Many of us ask but sometimes we are not quite sure that God will answer us. We need to stop doing this and be confident that God will answer our prayers. If we allow any doubt, distrust, unbelief or any other negative thing to come in it will cancel out our blessings. When we sow we will reap. When we sow prayers to God we will receive answers!

WE ARE HEALED:

****1 Peter 2:24} He personally bore our sins in His own body on the tree (an on an altar and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.

Every sickness and disease that is on this earth has been defeated by Jesus. Every single mental, emotional and physical illness has been taken care of. We need to praise and thank Him for this great sacrifice, receive our healing by faith and stop doubting God's Word and promises.

WE ARE SPIRIT LED:

****Romans 8:14} For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

God, by His Spirit within us, will guide our paths, He will keep us on the straight and narrow. He lights our path and puts a checking in our spirit when we are going the wrong direction. He will show us what to do when we fine tune our hearts and ears on His voice.

WE ARE CHOSEN:

****1 Peter 2:9}   But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, (God's) own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Each one of us was personally chosen and selected by God Himself. We are royalty! We are sons and daughters of the King! We were purchases by the blood of Jesus Christ and redeemed out of every evil thing and every curse. We are no longer under the curse folks! We are under God's grace. Each one of us chosen for such a time as this for God's special purpose.

WE ARE RIGHTEOUS:

****1 Corinthians 1:30} But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus. Whom God made our Wisdom from God, (revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously) hidden, manifesting itself (as) our Righteousness (thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God), and our Consecration (making us pure and holy), and our Redemption (providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin).

We were not only chosen, we were saved and made righteous by the sacrifice of God's Son, Jesus Christ. It's not by mistake that we have been chosen and saved in this period of time. It was God's plan for us all along. We ought to thank God every day for our salvation and for Jesus' sacrifice. Without what Jesus did, without God loving us so deeply, none of this would have been made available to us and we would have no hope.

WE ARE ABOVE PROBLEMS:

****Ephesians 2:6} And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together (giving us joint seating with Him) in the heavenly sphere (by virtue of our being) in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Now, let's get this straight. Not only are we chose and saved, but we are already seated with Christ in heavenly places! We need to really get a revelation of what this means folks. It means that since we are seated in heavenly places with Him, we have what He has.....authority, power, anointing and the answers to all our daily problems, circumstances and situations. So no matter what comes into our lives to ''try'' to overtake us, we have the authority, power and anointing to cast it down! Jesus has authority over everything, principalities and powers, so do we!!! Are we getting a clue here? I hope so!

WE ARE POWERFUL:

****Ephesians 3:20} Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do superabundantly , far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think (infinitely, beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams).

We are powerful because the most powerful and mighty God resides in each one of us. He has a purpose and a plan for each one of us and He will see to it that those purposes and plans come to pass in our lives. God never does things halfway....He does them perfectly. How much do we dare to ask our Father? Do we ask Him for little things or big things? We need to get to that place of daring to ask Him for something so big only He can cause it to happen! We always get our carnal minds and flesh in the way. It's time to crucify that flesh and begin to walk in the spirit. This will come from working on becoming more intimate with our relationship with our Father. Intimacy plus high expectations will result in things that are way over and above what we can even hope for! Our power lies in Christ Jesus, in our Father, in our faith and in how we think and expect for things. So a man thinks, so he is. Get to know and really get a revelation of who you are in Christ. Then, and only then, will you explode in power from on high.

WE ARE CLEAN:

****John 15:3} You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you (the teachings I have discussed with you).

All of us have sat under the Word at one time or another. Or hopefully we are still sitting under the Word by studying for ourselves to rightly divide. The Word does a powerful work in us. It heals us, delivers us and sets us free, increases our knowledge and wisdom, cleans us of all impurities, empowers us and the list goes on. It's so necessary for us to eat of it daily. To meditate and focus on what it is saying. To internalize it our hearts and apply it daily in our lives. It's just like doing laundry, when you apply the right detergent the clothes come clean. The more you apply, the cleaner it gets. The same is true of God's Word.

WE ARE PRAYER WARRIORS:

****Ephesians 6:18} Pray at all times (on every occasion , in ever season) in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

The most powerful way to pray is in the Spirit. The Spirit knows who to pray for and what to pray for. We should be praying daily in this manner. If we did, we would see breakthroughs and blessings come raining down on God's people. No matter what is going on we need to intercede and keep standing on God's promises for things, many times, are not as they seem. God is always working behind the scenes on our behalf. Especially when we overtake Him with our prayers and petitions. Yes the prayers of a righteous man or woman avail much! Prayer is powerful! Prayer destroys the yokes of bondage and every plan Satan has against us.

WE ARE CONSISTENT:

****1 Peter 1:10} The phophets, who prophesied of the grace (divine blessing) which was intended for you, searched and inquired earnestly about this salvation.

We are not just to be Christians in name only. We are to be doers of the Word. So we do on a daily basis those things that which profess a good profession, in other words that glorify, edify and shine out the Lord.

WE ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE:

****2 Peter 1:2} May grace (God's favor) and peace (which is the perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in (the full, personal, precise and correct) knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

The more we dig into God's Word the more of Christ will be revealed to us and through us. Knowledge comes from the Word of God. It increases our ability to understand, know, see and acknowledge who we are, where we are, what we have, and what's been done in the Son, Jesus Christ. It will definitely increase our spiritual discernment. Which we need greatly in this day and age.

WE ARE WISE:

2 Timothy 3:15} And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus (through the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

Everything that we need to know, learn and trust in is in the Word of God. That has to be our primary Source. God's wisdom is in each one of us and resting upon us. We have to believe it, receive it and trust it completely and fully. Never doubting it's source or it's power. God's Word is yea and amen...so be it. We've heard about the Word ever since childhood as we allowed others to teach us. Now that we are mature adults we need to study the Word for ourselves to rightly divide. In doing this we will gain even more wisdom because the Holy Spirit is the greatest Teacher.

WE ARE SAVED:

****Romans 10:9) Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are saved from the jaws of hell. But more than this, we are saved from everything that has to do with death...sickness, poverty, disease, depression, confusion etc.... We may be hit with things but God with faithfully bring us through each one. Even if our mortal bodies are destroyed in this earth we will go on after this world to a great life. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We will spend all eternity with our Father and His Son. Glory to God! No one can steal that gift of salvation from us. No one can snatch us away from the Father's hands.

WE ARE SECURE:

****John 3:16} For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He (even) gave up His only begotten (unique)   Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not   perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

We are secure because God sent His only Son, the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins, to die on the cross in our place so that each one of us could be saved through Jesus. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life....there is no other way to be saved. It is a finished work so as we continue to trust and rely on Him we are secure and safe in His hands. He not only becomes our Lord and Savior, He becomes our protector against all harm and evil.

WE ARE BALANCED:

****Colossians 3:15} And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts (deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state) to which as (members of Christ's) one body you were also called (to live). And be thankful (appreciative), (giving praise to God always).

We walk in a position of grace where God is concerned because of the work Jesus did. Jesus, through His great sacrifice, brings complete balance and stability to every dimension of our lives. We don't start projects and quit...we persevere. We see a project through the end because it's finished in Christ. We are dead in Christ. So it is very important not to let our flesh rule in any way but to practice moving in the leading and guidance of the Spirit every day. That is how we stay balanced...in Him, in His Word, and according to the Spirit's leading.

WE ARE OF SOUND MIND:

****2 Timothy 1:7} For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, or craven and cringing and fawning fear), but (He has given us a spirit) of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Since we are of sound mind we need to put up "no trespassing" signs up to the devil whenever he tries to plant something in our minds. We have to do it right on the onset. We have power over him, he does not have power over us, of course, unless we allow him to. Many of us need to practice self-control more in these days. The times are getting perilous and we have the tendency to act out quickly before praying or really thinking things through. Since we have a sound mind, and we do have the mind of Christ, let us use it wisely.

WE ARE CHARISMATIC:

****Romans 12:6} Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them.

We have been gifted by the Holy Spirit with many wonderful spiritual gifts. We need to use them for the glory of God. Jesus and His disciples were very charismatic in their day. So many people were drawn to them. Jesus allowed the glory of His Father to shine out of Him in every way. He was totally surrendered to the Father. The disciples allowed the glory of the Father and Son to shine through them, they too were totally submitted and surrendered to them. They were open to allow God to use them any way He wanted to. This is the place we need to be at. We need to be led by the Spirit in all things every single day. We will be amazed as to how the Lord will shine His glory and His majesty through each one of us.

WE ARE LIBERATED:

****Galatians 5:1} In this freedom Christ has made us free (and completely liberated us); stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery (which you have once put off).

We have been set free and totally liberated through God's power and the works of His Son, Jesus. We need to be very careful not to get back into a prison of slavery. Many of us have without realizing it. We allow this world to entrap us many times. Even good meaning religious leaders can put us in a prison of control, manipulation, legalism and a lot of other things if we are not quick to recognize what is going on. The more we study God's Word, the more we will realize who we are in Him, what power we have, and what we are to receive and not receive. God set us free, Jesus came to give us life and that more abundantly, let us be wary of anything that draws us away from or out of this freedom.
WE ARE BLESSED:

****Proverbs 8:32} Now therefore listen to Me, O you sons; for blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who keep My ways.

When we obey God and all His instructions in His Word and we are born again children of God we can't help but be blessed. If you want a pretty good list of the blessings I would urge you to look at Deuteronomy 28. Really meditate on all those promises for they are ours not just for the people of that day. It's time to claim those promises folks! I will take a few moments just to name some of those blessings: We are blessed coming in and going out, We are blessed in the city, we are blessed in our place of employment, we are blessed when we go on vacation, we are blessed wherever we go and God will bless everything we put our hands to!

WE ARE FAITH FILLED:

****Romans 12:3} For by grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly he ought (not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance), but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.

God gives us enough faith to begin our journey with Him toward an abundant life. We receive abundant life through everything Christ did for us. Now we all know that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So the more we time we spend in the Word, the more our faith will increase, not to mention our Godly wisdom and knowledge.

WE ARE GOD'S TEMPLE:

****1 Corinthians 3:16} Do you not discern and understand that you are God's temple (His sanctuary) and that God's Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you (to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually?)

God Almighty dwells within each one of us. We are His home. Really think about that. Not too many of us do, if we did we probably would not do the negative and sinful things we do at time. We need to remember that wherever we go, whatever we do or say, God is within us always seeing, always watching, always listening. Sobering thought isn't it?

WE ARE CONFIDENT:

***1 John 5:14-15} And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him; (we are sure) that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we (positively) know that He listen to us in whatever we aks, we also know (with settled and absolute knowledge) that we have (granted us as our resent possessions) the requests made of Him.

We are confident...and if we're not we had better spend more time in God's presence and studying His Word. Many of us don't have answered prayers because we are not bold enough or we don't trust God enough. I hear way too many "buts"... "ifs" ...."maybes" .....and "I hope so" in the Body of Christ. Either we trust God and have confidence in Him or we don't. God's word is yea and amen. He does not lie. So it's time to be confident folks. It's time to be dead to anxiety, fear, doubt ,worry and every other negative thing.

WE ARE ORGANIZED:

****1 Corinthians 14:40}   But all things should be done with regard to decency and propriety and in an orderly fashion.

God is a God of order as we can see through the creation of this universe. God has given balance to all things, including us. So order is flowing out of us and through us into this world and into our surroundings which God made us an overseer and has given us authority. If there is any chaos, unbalance or anything else going on we need to oversee it through using our authority and through prayer.

WE ARE SKILLFUL WITH THE WORD:

**** Matthew 7:28-29} When Jesus had finished these saying (the Sermon on the Mount), the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His teaching. For He was teaching as One Who had (and was) authority, and not as (did) the scribes.

God has given us skill in His word, Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh and He dwells within us. So when we rely on His Spirit to teach and guide us, He will anoint us for speaking out His Word.

WE ARE FAITHFUL:

***Colossians 1:2} To the saints (the consecrated people of God) and believing and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae; Grace (spiritual favor and blessing) to you and (heart) peace from God our Father.

We serve God by His grace. Take notice here of something that really came off the page at me: Heart peace. Why heart peace and not mind peace? Because the Word, if we truly are faithful to study it to rightly divide, becomes life in our hearts not our minds. That's where faith is established also...in our hearts. Amazing what God reveals when we are truly seeking.

WE ARE HAPPY AND FULL OF JOY:

1 Peter 1:8} Without having seen Him, you love Him; through you do not (even) now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.

We can choose to keep or lose our joy. As we know the devil in these days is doing His best to try to steal that joy We need to do all we can to encourage ourselves in the Lord and in His Word to make sure that doesn't happen. We have so much to look forward to....one day we will be with Christ and our heavenly Father never to suffer again. That thought alone should cause us to rejoice and shout with joy.

WE ARE STANDING AND CONTINUE TO STAND:

****Ephesians 6: 13} Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day (of danger), and having done all (the crisis demands), to stand (firmly in your place).

This is something we should be doing on a daily basis, putting on the whole armor of God. We need to stand our ground and be unmoved and unshaken whenever anything comes at us. Why? Because we are guaranteed the victory through God's promises. Never let go, never give up, never back down, stand firm! What God has given us no one can take away. So we take our stand in Christ and upon His Word.

WE ARE OCCUPYING:

****Luke 19:13} "And He called His ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said to them, Occupy until I come.

We need to occupy our ground and be a true soldier of Christ. Just like a soldier who has great victory in the army he is serving which is holding the ground that has been taken. Jesus has the Victory. He has taken it all away from Satan and we need to hold firm and protect it until His return. We need to continue to stand and occupy and even take more ground which the enemy is trying to steal from us. We need to put up ''No Trespassing" signs up for Satan is trespassing on God's property!

WE ARE REDEEMED:

****Galatians 3:13} Christ purchased our freedom (redeeming us) from the curse (doom) of the Law (and its condemnation) by (Himself) becoming a curse for us, for it is written (in the Scriptures), Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified).

When Adam fell we were sold into slavery....Satan and sin became our master. Jesus came, paid the price, and redeemed us out from under this curse. That means anything evil attached to Satan like sickness, disease, poverty, lack and any other thing that can bring a curse upon us has no power over us any longer. We are not to receive any more condemnation from anything or anyone. We are under grace, not under the Law. For instance, if anyone preaches that we are under a curse if we don't tithe, is not preaching truth. We are under the grace of giving, not the Law of tithing. So therefore, no curse can come on us. Really do some research on this folks. But the rule of thumb is the same, if we give meagerly we will reap meagerly, if we give generously, we will reap generously. Our giving has a lot to do with our receiving.

WE ARE CREATIVE:

****Genesis 1:1} In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Since God has a creative ability and He lives within us, we too have a creative ability. It's time we receive these creative abilities and stop lining our thoughts with the devil's lies by saying we are not creative. Ask God where your creative abilities lie and ask Him to stir them up.   And when He does, use them for His glory and purposes.

WE ARE GIFTED:

****Ephesians 4:8} Therefore it is said; When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive (He led a train of vanquished (foes) and He bestowed gifts on men.

****1 Corinthians 12:1} Now about the spiritual gifts (the special endowments of supernatural energy) brethren, I do not wan tyou to be misinformed.

We all have gifts in our lives given to us by the Spirit of God. We need to seek and to desire these gifts. The Holy Spirit is within each one of us who are born again and so we should be operating in the gifts of the Spirit. We inherited these gifts through the resurrection life in Christ. All that Jesus has we inherit now that we have become His children.

WE ARE OBEDIENT:

****1 Peter 1:2}   Who were chosen and foreknown by God the Father and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with (His) blood; May grace (spiritual blessings) and peace be given you in increasing abundance (that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts).

Christ is in each one of us helping us to be obedient through His strength. We need to see ourselves as obedient and faithful servants to God. We also need to remember that he who is faithful over little shall be given much. So our obedience has a lot to do with increase or lack thereof. We need to determine to be obedient to whatever God, by His Spirit, puts on our hearts to do. And we need to do like Jesus, stick to it until it is a finished deed.

WE ARE CHAMPIONS:

****Hebrews 11: Read all of it. It is a testimony of how faith in operation in our lives will make us champions. Don't just read it, meditate on it until you get the truth of that chapter way down in your spirit and it becomes life to you. We are champions of faith....faith in Christ...faith in God....faith in His Word. We can and will step out in faith and do great feats in the name of Jesus Christ.

WE ARE BRILLIANT:

****Hebrews 1:7} Referring to the angels Her says, (God) Who makes His angels winds and His ministering servants flames of fire.

The excellent and overwhelming power of God inside of us radiates from us and it makes us brilliant, it makes us shine. Remember, we have that same resurrection power within us that rose Christ from the dead!

WE ARE PRUDENT:

****1 Samuel 16:18} One of the young men said, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who plays skillfully, a valiant man, a man of war, prudent in speech and eloquent, an attractive person; and the Lord is with him.

To be prudent means to be capable of something. We are not only capable but we are wise in all our dealings and with the things we own. We know how to bring increase from what we have. We know how to deal with people and situations where the outcome will be beneficial to us because of the prudence and wisdom that God has given us. Let us not forget we have the mind of Christ.

WE ARE RESILIENT:

****Proverbs 24:16} For a righteous man falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.

Whenever we fall we always bounce back, nothing can keep us down. Nothing can stop us from persevering and going forth. We have God's resilience and His tenacity within us which is generated through the Holy Spirit.

WE ARE VIBRANT:

****Ephesians 3:20} Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do   superabundantly, far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think (infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams.

God's power is at work within us 24/7, it never stops. Now notice in this Scripture that it says God can do superabundantly far over and above all that we dare ask or THINK. God knows our hearts and He knows our thoughts. So we really need to bring our thoughts higher and dare to ask Him for something so big only He can bring it to pass. But also remember, so a man things, so he is. So we need to think victoriously and dare to believe that God will come through for us overflowing.

WE ARE MIRACULOUS:

****Mark 16: 17-18} And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and (even) if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

The power of God is released through our faith and in the name of Jesus! Miracles and wonders will follow us wherever we go, just as in the days of the disciples. But really look at the stipulation in this Scripture: THOSE WHO BELIEVE. We cannot let our faith in God and His word be shaken folks.

WE ARE PERCEPTIVE:

****Matthew 22:18} But Jesus, aware of their malicious plot, asked, Why do you put Me to the test and try to entrap Me, you pretenders (hypocrites)?

Since Christ is in us and He sees beyond the surface of any situation...in other words He sees the true hearts of men and what lies beneath the surface....we too are given that same discernment by His Spirit within us. He will reveal hidden things to us so that we don't have the wool pulled over our eyes. That is why it's so important to know His Word, not lean on our own understanding, and trust Him in all things.

WE ARE ENCOURAGERS:

****Proverbs 25:11} A word fitly spoken and in due season is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

Whenever someone is down, we are to encourage them. We are also to encourage ourselves in the Lord and the power of His Word. We need to seek to inspire, lift up and encouragers others and ourselves through words of faith. We need to speak things as they should be and not as they are. Never settle for less when God has His best for us!

WE ARE OBSERVANT:

****Ephesians 5:14-15} Therefore, He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent) people.

We need to walk more by the Spirit and less by our flesh. Our emotions and feelings can and will make us take wrong turns and even act in foolish ways. We need to be about obeying God and doing what He has called us to do. We need to soak ourselves in the knowledge and wisdom of God's Word. Not act foolish and senseless like those who are in the world and led by every foolish belief and agenda.

WE ARE TRUTHFUL:

****Ephesians 4:25} Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members of one another.

As we all know there are many false religions out there practicing and preaching things that don't line up with God's Word. We need to reject anything that does not line up with God's purpose, will or intentions for us. God is not a God of religions and it's time we wake up to that fact...He is a God of the heart....a God of relationship. It's time we walk in unconditional love and unity with God and with one another. We are all people of faith, not religion. It's time to get rid of religious labels and bear the flag of Christ...since we are all His children. I don't care how anointed a preacher, pastor, minister, or anyone claims to be or looks in the natural, if something is being said or done that does not line up with God's Word we need to reject it. God's Word is our only measure and rule of living.

WE ARE ETERNAL:

****John 3:16} For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He (even) gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trust in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

God promises us eternal life when we receive and believe in His Son, Jesus and all that He did for us at Calvary. He promises that we will not come to destruction nor stay in a state of being lost.   But we have to trust in, cling to, and rely on Him on a daily basis. Not just when the mood hits us or bad things happen. It has to be a way of life folks.
WE ARE DEVOTED:

****Psalms 119:33} Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end (steadfast).

We are devoted to God. Being devoted means to be steadfast, faithful, obedient every single day in our walk with God. This shows that we have an active part in this walk, not a passive one. We keep God's commands, statues, word and instructions by daily meditating on them and studying them to rightly divide.

WE ARE EQUIPPED:

****2 Timothy 3: 16-17} Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience (and) for training in righteousness of holy living in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action. So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

God equips us through His Spirit and His Word. That is why it's important to have both. God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called! For anyone who says the Bible is just a book written by men, this Scripture tells you that you are wrong. Every single word in the Bible is written by God Himself through inspiriration. He put the words in men's hearts and they wrote it down for Him. End of discussion! We have to be conformed to God's will and His Word if we desire to be equipped in all things.

WE ARE CONSECRATED:

****Hebrews 7:28} For the Law sets up men in their weakness (frail, sinful, dying human beings) as high priests, but the Word of God's oath, which (was spoken later) after the institution of the Law,   (chooses and appoints as priest, One Whose appointment is complete and permanent; a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Each one of us is separated and dedicated unto God. God chose each and every one of us to serve God in the same way His Son did. Since Jesus has been made perfect forever, we too one day will be made perfect forever. How blessed we are to have been chosen to inherit everything that Jesus has!

WE ARE PRODUCTIVE:

****Romans 12:11} Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor, be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.

When we stay closely connected to God and look for ways to serve and honor Him we will be very productive indeed. God put talents and gifts in each one of us. We should be using them for His service and not our own purposes. Each one of us is productive. Each one of us should be burning with zeal and fervor for the Lord. And each one of us is fully filled overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit. When we are active and productive, we will reap bountifully. God will see to it.

WE ARE SANCTIFIED:

****1 Corinthians 1:30} But it is from Him that you have your life in Jesus Christ. Whom God made our wisdom from God, (revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden manifesting itself as) our Righteousness (thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God) and our Consecration (making us pure and holy), and our Redemption (providing our ransom from eternal penalty from sin).

Jesus paid the price once and for all! By receiving Him as Lord and Savior we are sanctified.....upright, righteous, holy, pure, in right standing with God! He did it all and it's a free gift to us. We have been redeemed out of sin and the penalty of it! In Him we are separated from the rest of the world. We are in the world but not of it, but in Christ! We are cleansed and purged and ready to do His work.

WE ARE FRUITFUL:

****John 15:16} You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you (I have planted you), that you might go and bear fruit, and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting (that it may remain, abide), so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name (as presenting all that I AM) He may give it to you.

We are fruitful when we continually abide in Christ on a daily basis. When we walk in obedience towards God our fruit will multiply. And it is this obedience that causes the Father to answer our prayers. When we bear fruit and become more Christ-like we are presenting Christ to the Father. Just as the Father would not deny His Son anything, so He will not deny us anything. The key here is obedience and developing more of the fruit of Christ. God just gave us a very powerful key to prosperity here. Since the fruit of the Holy Spirit is within us we should be doing all we can to produce more fruit by following His leading and not our own.

WE ARE COURAGEOUS:

****2 Chronicles 32:7} Be strong and courageous. Be not afraid or dismayed before the King of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there is Another with us greater than (all those) with him.

God is with us, He is greater than any enemy or force that came come against us. Since the great Lion of Judah lives within each one of us, we can face any situation or circumstance that will come at us. We are assured the victory....so let us walk boldly and courageously.

WE ARE SPECIAL:

Ephesians 2:10}   For we are God's own handiwork, (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us (taking paths which He prepared ahead of time),   that we should walk in them   (living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live).

God created each one of us to be very unique. There will never be another like us in the world. He predestined every single step we would make in our lives. It is so important for us to stay on that path He has chosen for us and not let our emotions, feelings, thoughts, men's opinions, this world or anything else stop us from pressing in with Him and going forward on His chosen path. He desires us to have a good life...if we're not, we may need to look at what is operating in us. Have we strayed in any way from this path of obedience to God?

WE ARE JUBILANT:

****Nehemiah 8:10) Then Ezra told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to the Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

We have joy in our lives which makes us jubilant and happy. Our days flow with joy. We can be joyful even in the midst of terrible circumstances and situations. We can have a jubilant attitude about life. We can go through each day with a joyful spirit. Joy is our stronghold against anything the enemy can try against us. When we operate in the joy of the Lord it will cause the devil to flee.

WE ARE ENCOURAGED:

****Hebrews 6:18} this was so that, by two unchangeable things ( His promise and His oath) in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled (to Him) for refuge might have mighty and indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before us.

We are encouraged when we run to the arms of God when things rise up and we can also encourage ourselves in His Word. His Word and truth and cannot be proven to be false. God is not a man that He should lie so we can be assured His promises will come to pass for us. We are dead to discouragement and alive to encouragement. Any situation or circumstance that may arise will be overtaken for greater is He that is in us than he that is of the world.

WE ARE GALVANIZED:

****1 John 2:14} I write to you, fathers, because you have come to know (recognize, be conscious of, and understand) Him Who (has existed) from the beginning. I write to you, young men,   because you are strong and vigorous, and the Word of God is (always) abiding in you (in your hearts) and you have been victorious over the wicked one.

Galvanized means to be fortified. We are fortified and alerted by the Word of God. We come to know God and stand on the Solid Rock by getting to know Him through His Word. This brings us strength and fortifies us.

WE ARE EFFECTIVE:

****Philemon 1:6} (And I pray) that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good thing that is ours in (our identification with) Christ Jesus (and unto His glory).

We effect the world around us in effective and tangible ways. We do this by sharing our faith with others. We recognize, appreciate and understand the full meaning and knowledge of the promises of God which are ours through Christ Jesus.

WE ARE FREE:

****Romans 8:2} For the law of the Spirit of life (which is) in Christ Jesus (the law of our new being) has freed me from the law of sin and death.

We are freer than any human can be....we are free from sin and we are free from death. Even if we were to be in prison we would be free. No one can stop the freedom that we have in the Spirit. Our souls have been delivered from the powers of darkness. We are free in Christ.

WE ARE REIGNING:

****Romans 5:17} For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive (God's) overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness (putting them into right standing with Himself) reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah), the Anointed One.

In Christ we are made kings and priests. We reign with Him and we have total victory in Him. Adam may have brought sin into the world, but Jesus overcame everything! We are royalty!

WE ARE RENEWED:

****Romans 6:4} We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious (power) of the Father, so we too might (habitually) live and behave in newness of life.

Each one of us walks in resurrection life. The Word of God renews our thinking every day as we read it, study it and meditate on it. Our walk is fully developed in Christ. The good work He has begun in us will go on until completion.

WE ARE DYNAMIC:

****Revelation 21:6} And He (further) said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I (Myself) will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life.

The generating power of God radiates from us. God is all power. He holds the power of the atom together and He is in each   one of us with the kind of power that it takes to do mighty miracles.   God can and will perform mighty miracles through each one of us. Yes, we are dynamic!

WE ARE FERVENT:

****James 5:16} Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray (also) for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart). The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working).

Our prayers are powerful and will bring about a reaction. We have a fervent prayer life and it is very effective. Our prayers can bring about healing, restoration, change, deliverance and transformation. Our prayers release tremendous spiritual power which will transform in the natural.

WE ARE TRIUMPHANT:

****2 Corinthians 2:14} But thanks be to God. Who in Christ always leads us in triumph (as trophies of Christ's victory) and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.

We are winners, we are victors in Christ Jesus. Notice it says that in Christ He ''always" leads us in triumph. It is through each one of us that the world will see, feel, hear and know the triumph Victor, Jesus Christ.

WE ARE BOLD:

****Proverbs 28:1} The wicked flee when no man pursues them, but the (uncompromisingly) righteous are bold as a lion.

We speak out when we know we should. We step out in boldness and do the things we should be doing even when we are met with opposition. We are bold as lions. But take note here again the key to this boldness is to not compromise our walk in any way. That is what "uncompromisingly" means. We need to be faithful, obedient and true to our God.

WE ARE PERSISTENT:

****Ephesians 6:18} Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints ( in God's consecrated people).

We persist in all the things of God and all He has called us to do. We don't give up, we don't quit and we don't back down. We push through and continue with great tenacity.

WE ARE TENACIOUS:

****Hebrews 10:23}   So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgment   of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.

We don't let go until we see those things that we believe for come to pass. God is faithful and true and we are assured our victories and His promises to be fulfilled in our lives. We are tenacious and unshakable in our faith in God and His Word.

WE ARE BELIEVERS:

****Mark 9:23} And Jesus said, (You say to Me), If You can do anything? (Why) all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!

We are believers and receivers. We do not doubt, moan, groan, waver or pout. We believe that we receive, therefore, we shall have. Believing puts our faith to action and shows God that we have full confidence and trust in Him.

WE ARE FORTHRIGHT:

****Psalms 51:6} Behold, you desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my innermost heart.

We are direct, clear, and honest in presenting the Word of God. We are bold and truthful. We speak God's wisdom and not our own.

WE ARE SOUL WINNERS:

****Proverbs 11:30} The fruit of the (uncompromisingly) righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures human lives (for God, as a fisher of men....he gathers and receives them for eternity).

The greatest privilege on this earth for us is to win souls to Christ. To grab them from the jaws of hell and damnation. It is one of the greatest exploits and test that man or woman can accomplish. It is our privilege and we have great wisdom in doing this. It should be our greatest heart's desire.

My prayer is that you will print up this study.....go over it often until you get it way down in your spirit and it becomes life to you. You are very precious in God's eyes. You are a great instrument and tool for His glory. You are empowered by God Almighty. It's time every Christian realizes who they are in Christ and what they are capable of. It's time for us to rise up and walk in that anointing and power so freely given to us by Christ Jesus. Don't speed read through this, really meditate, reflect and chew on it steadily. It will bring transformation and power into your life. God bless you. I love you but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.

Prayer:

Thank you Lord that we are blessed   in the city and blessed in the field. Thank you that the fruit of our body and the fruit of our ground and the fruit of our beasts are blessed. Thank you Lord for the increase of our flocks. Thank You for blessing us when we come in and when we go out. Thank You that You cause our enemies who rise up against us to be defeated before our face; thank You that they come against us one way and flee before us seven ways. Thank You, Lord, that You command the blessing upon our storehouse and in all that we undertake. Thank You that You will bless us in the land which You give us. Thank You, Lord, that You establish us as a people Holy unto You. Thank You, Lord, our God, that you shall make the world see us as a people called by Your name. Thank You Lord that you shall make us have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of our bodies, of our livestock, and of our ground. thank You Lord, that You shall open to us Your good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of our hands; and we shall lend to many nations, but we shall not borrow. Thank You Lord that you have made us the head and not the tail, and that we are above and not beneath. Thank You Lord for filling our hands overflowing and abundantly so that we can be a blessing to others.   Keep us ever faithful and obedient to You and Your ways. Give us a deep hunger and thirst for You and for Your Word in Jesus name I pray. Amen and Amen.
