I cannot say "Our" if my faith has no reason for others and their needs.
I cannot say "Father" if I do not demonstrate this with the relationships in my daily life.
I cannot say "Who Are In Heaven" if all my interests and pursuits are in earthly things.
I cannot say "Hallowed Be Thy Name" if I, who am called by His name, am not holy.
I cannot say "Thy Kingdom Come" if I am unwilling to give up my own sovereignty and accept the righteous reign of God.
I cannot say "Thy Will Be Done" if I am unwilling or resentful of having it in my life.
I cannot say "On Earth As It Is In Heaven" unless I am truly ready to give myself to His service here and now.
I cannot say "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" without expending honest effort for it or by ignoring the genuine needs of my fellowmen.
I cannot say "Forgive Us Our Trespasses As We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us" if I continue to harbor a grudge against anyone.
I cannot say "Lead us Not Into Temptation" if I deliberately choose to remain in a situation where I am likely to be tempted.
I cannot say "Deliver Us From Evil" if I am not prepared to fight in the spiritual realm with the weapon of prayer.
I cannot say "Thine Is The Kingdom" if I do not give the King the disciplined obedience of a loyal subject.
I cannot say "Thine Is The Power" if I fear what my neighbors and friends may say or do.
I cannot say "Thine Is The Glory" if I am seeking my own glory first.
I cannot say "Forever" if I am too anxious about each day's outcome.
THE DIFFERENCE
When my earthly father says, "You are nothing."
My Heavenly Father says "You are My beloved child."
When my earthly father says, "I'd give you the piano, if you learn how to play it."
My Heavenly Father says, "Use your talents wisely."
When my earthly mother says, "Just wait until your father gets home."
My Heavenly Father says, "Just wait until My Son takes you home."

My Heavenly Father says: "You will always be something special to Me."
When my earthly father says, "Go stand in the corner."
My Heavenly Father says, "Go into every corner of the world and tell
them about My Son.
When my earthly father says, "Clean up this mess."
My Heavenly Father says, "If your life is a mess, I will clean it up for you."
When my earthly father says, "You will never do anything right."
My Heavenly Father says, "I will make all things right."

When my earthly father says, "Go to bed without supper."
My heavenly Father says, "My storehouses are full. Come and dine."
When my earthly father says, "Go away, Can't you see I'm busy?"
My Heavenly Father says, "I am available for you twenty-four hours a day.

something by yourself.
My Heavenly Father says, "I will wrap My loving arms around you."

It is so amazing to have a Heavenly Father who loves us so much
and Who will never leave us nor forsake us! We are never alone!
Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived;
Happiness,Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others including Love.
One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.
Love was the only one who stayed.
Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment
When the island was almost sinking, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat.
Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No I can't. There is a lot of gold and
silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me! called out Love.
"I can't help you Love." Replied Vanity. "You are all wet and might damage my boat."
Sadness was close by so Love asked for help.
"Sadness let me go with you." Asked Love.
"Oh....Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself." Replied Sadness.
Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when love called to her!
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you."
It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder her name. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Love realizing how much he owed the elder asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."
THE VESSEL
The Master was searching for a vessel to use;
On the shelf there were many....which one would He choose?
"Take me," cried the gold one, "I'm shiney and bright.
I'm of great value and I do things just right.
My beauty and lustre will out shine the rest
And for someone like You, Master, gold would be the best!
"Look at me," called the goblet of crystal so clear
My transparency shows my contents so clear
Though fragile am I, I will serve You with pride
And I'm sure I'll be happy in Your house to abide
Unheeding the Master passed on to the brass
It was widemouthed and shallow, and polished like glass
"Here! Here!" cried the vessel, "I know I will do.
Place me on Your table for all men to view."
The Master passed on with no word at all;
He looked at the silver one, narrow and tall;
"I'll serve You, dear Master, I'll pour out Your wine
And I'll be at Your table whenever You dine
My lines are so graceful, my carvings so true
And my silver will always compliment You
The Master came next to a vessel of wood
Polished and carved, it solidly stood
"You may use me, dear Master, the wooden bowl said
But I'd reather You used me for fruit, not for bread!"
Then the Master looked down and saw a vessel of clay
Empty and broken it helplessly lay
No hope had the vessel that the Master might choose
To cleanse and make whole, to fill and to use
"Ah! This is the vessel I've been hoping to find
I will mend and use it and make it all Mine
I need not the vessel with pride of its self
Nor the one who is narrow to sit on the shelf
Nor th eone who is bigmouthed and shallow and loud
Nor one who displays his contents so proud
Nor the one who thinks he can do all things just right
But this plain earthly vessel filled with My power and might
Then gently He lifted the vessel of clay
Mended and cleansed it and filled it that day
Spoke to it kindly, "There's work you must do
Just pour out toothers as I pour into you.
DYING TO SELF
When you are forgotten, or neglected, or purposely set at naught, and you don't sting and hurt with the insult of the oversight, but your heart is happy, being counted worthy to suffer for Christ.....
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
When you can receive correction and reproof from one of less stature than yourself and can humbly submit inwardly as well as outwardly, finding no rebellion or resentment rising up in your heart....
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
When you are content with any food, any offering, any climate, any society, any raiment, any interruption by the will of God....
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
When you lovingly and patiently bear any disorder, any irregularity, any impunctuality, or any annoyance; when standing face-to-face with waste, folly, extravagance, spiritual insensibility...endure it as Jesus endured....
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
When you see your brother prosper and have his needs met and can honestly rejoice with him in spirit and feel no envy, nor question God, while your own needs are far greater and in desperate circumstances.....
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
When your good is evil spoken of, when your wishes are crossed, your advice disregarded, your opinions ridiculed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart, or even defend yourself, but take it all in patient loving silence...
THAT IS DYING TO SELF
Are you dead yet? In these last days, the Spirit would bring us to the cross.
